Mama’s Ranch, LLC began as a family adventure and has grown into an animal-loving, farm-oriented community. Nestled in the back roads of north Mesa, or as the locals like to call it, Lehi, Mama’s Ranch seeks to provide family-friendly interactions with animals and the beautiful world we live in, as well as top-of-the-line boarding services for locals.

Mama’s Ranch was founded by Glen Nelson, a retired insurance broker by trade turned cutting horse competitor and rancher. Glen attributes his love for horses and farm life to his heritage of dairy farming grandparents. Growing up, Glen spent his summers visiting extended family in Southern Idaho where milking cows early in the morning and loading hay bales at night with dozens of chores in between was the good life.

He is now fulfilling a life-long dream of providing his grandchildren and others the same opportunities of hard work and the joy of life on the farm.
